These guys get it, too...

I know I complained, at some point in the distant past, about how Ken Bruen and Jason Starr's Hard Case offerings, Bust and Slide, were not my cuppa.   So I waited a long time to pick up the other two books in the series, The Max and Pimp. 
 
All I can say now is I don't know what the hell was wrong with me back then. Both The Max and Pimp are high octane, off-the-leash fun.  Highly recommended.

I think I need to go back and re-read the first two.
